About Julia

I received my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, and my Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College at Columbia University. My experience includes training at The Maple Counseling Center with individual adults and adolescents. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the Psychodynamic orientation. Together, we will explore your emotions, thoughts, experiences and behaviors - past and present - to facilitate processing and expand personal insight and understanding in your journey towards change, growth and healing. I understand that each client deserves individual consideration, and based on each client’s unique needs, I may also employ a variety of complementary therapeutic approaches such as narrative therapy, client-centered therapy and fostering mindfulness.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#136282)
